Delete your Kinlight account
You can delete your account and all its data at any time.
In the app (fastest)
- Open Kinlight.
- Tap ⚙️ More.
- Tap 🗑 Delete my account, then Delete everything.
Deletion happens immediately.
Without the app
If you no longer have the app, email us and we'll delete your account within 30 days. Include your Kinlight invite code if you know it (More → Add a friend shows it), or your display name and the names of your friends, so we can find your account.
What gets deleted
- Your anonymous account and display name
- Your invite code
- All your friendships (you disappear from your friends' sky)
- Any glimmers and notes not yet delivered
Reports you or others made are kept for up to 12 months for safety reasons, then deleted. Data stored only on your phone is deleted when you delete your account in the app or uninstall it.
