Terms of use
Last updated: October 30, 2026
By using Kinlight you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Be kind
Kinlight is for sending small, warm things to people you know. You may not use it to send content that is:
- harassing, bullying, threatening or hateful;
- sexually explicit, or sexual content involving minors in any way;
- violent, illegal, or that promotes self-harm;
- spam, or impersonating someone else.
You're responsible for what you send. Only connect with people who want to connect with you.
Reporting and blocking
Tap a friend and choose Report or block. Blocking ends the connection immediately: they disappear from your sky, can't send you anything and can't reconnect. Reports are reviewed, and we may remove accounts that break these terms, without notice.
Your content
What you draw and write is yours. You give us permission only to store and deliver it to the friends you send it to.
The lock screen
When Kinlight is your lock screen, it appears on top of your phone's own lock screen. Your PIN, pattern, fingerprint or face unlock still protect your phone exactly as before.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is". We do our best, but we can't promise it will always work, or that every glimmer arrives on time. To the extent allowed by law, we're not liable for any damages from using the app.
Ending
You can stop using Kinlight and delete your account at any time (More → Delete my account). We may change or discontinue the app, and update these terms; continuing to use it means you accept the changes.
